Soraya Martial-Wright
Attorney
“Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.” — James Baldwin Soraya is the Managing Attorney and Founder of The Autonomy Group (TAG), PC. With a deep commitment to service, advocacy, and empowerment, she leads the firm with a client-centered approach that reflects both compassion and strategic excellence. After graduating with honors from Livingstone College with a Bachelor of Arts, Soraya spent over a decade serving the community through her work with the Social Security Administration. There, she helped thousands of individuals navigate complex systems with dignity and care. Driven by a passion for justice and a desire to make an even greater impact, she pursued her law degree part-time while working full-time—a testament to her determination and unwavering work ethic. Now a licensed attorney, Soraya focuses on Estate Planning, Elder Law, Special Needs Planning, Social Security matters, and Immigration, helping families across North and South Carolina plan with confidence and peace of mind. Outside of the office, Soraya finds joy in nature. She loves hiking and considers the perfect day one spent near the water—soaking up the sun with a good book in hand.

Iveth Ramos
Director of First Impressions
"Life is what you make of it." As our Director of First Impressions, Iveth is often the first warm voice and welcoming presence our clients encounter. With over three years of experience at The Autonomy Group, she brings a personal and thoughtful touch to each interaction, whether by phone or email. Iveth began her journey with TAG as a Marketing Assistant, where she helped strengthen our brand, managed our social media presence, and kept our community informed through newsletters. In her new role, she continues to ensure that every client feels valued from the very first moment. Originally from Mexico, Iveth brings both heart and humor to the team. She’s a proud pizza enthusiast, a lifelong Harry Potter fan (still hoping that Hogwarts letter arrives!), and finds joy in spending quality time with her family, relaxing with a good movie. Her favorite color is blue, and she never misses a chance to treat herself to a little self-care—including a fresh manicure and the occasional bad joke.
Claudine Barber
Director of Firm Operations
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 As our Director of Firm Operations, Claudine plays a vital role in keeping The Autonomy Group running smoothly and efficiently. From managing administrative processes to ensuring our team has the tools and support they need, she helps create a calm, organized, and welcoming environment for both clients and staff. Claudine originally joined TAG as our Notary and Administrative Assistant, and through her dedication, attention to detail, and uplifting spirit, she quickly became an indispensable part of our leadership team. She studied psychology at Norfolk State University and is currently expanding her expertise by taking Real Estate classes with Keller Williams. Known for her warmth and kindness, Claudine brings a personal touch to everything she does. After a long day, she loves to unwind with a hot cup of tea and a slice of lemon. Her favorite dish? Fried croaker fish—delicious and comforting. And if you've never had a tomato sandwich with Duke’s mayonnaise, Claudine highly recommends it—it’s her go-to favorite! Whether you're a client, team member, or community partner, there's a good chance you'll cross paths with Claudine—and when you do, you'll understand why we’re so grateful to have her.
